Job description

We have a vacancy to join our busy team here at Bacon’s Motorcycles. We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor/Counter Assistant.

Ideally, we’re looking for people with a passion for both motorcycles/scooters and generally anything with two wheels and an engine.
Experience of working for a retailer in the industry, or working in retail in general would also be a big plus, although not essential. Above everything else, we’re looking for people with a friendly positive outlook who enjoy helping customers – we don’t believe in the hard sell!

The main duties of the role are;

• Represent the company and the brand to the expected high standards.

• Receive customer enquires by telephone, in person and via digital means.

• Achieve and maintain a high level of aftersales and use opportunities to upsell products that further enhance the customers motorcycling experience.

• Support other departments to deliver the highest level of customer experience at all times where staff shortages or periods of business needs support in other areas

• Build a strong rapport with customers and the local biking community.

The ideal candidate must have

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role in either the motorcycle industry or in a retail environment. You must be a self-starter with a flexible can do attitude, have a good attention to detail and be able to work as part of a team

Essential;

· A passion for motorcycles is an absolute must as is the ability to be a self starter and deliver results.

· Able to achieve consistently a high level of customer service

· Ability to work Saturdays

· Personable, highly motivated and process driven

· Computer literate

· A broad knowledge of motorcycles would be beneficial.

· A full motorcycle and driving licence.
