Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join a growing, fast-paced insurance business, where your main focus will be on delivering exceptional service and retaining customers through effective policy renewal support. You’ll be based in their Salisbury office, engaging with customers via both inbound and outbound calls to ensure the best possible outcomes.

In your role asCustomer Service Advisor, you’ll play a key role in building customer loyalty, using your communication and consultative skills to guide clients through the renewal process. You’ll handle a high volume of calls, manage follow-ups, and resolve queries efficiently, while working to performance and compliance standards within a regulated environment.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated Customer Service Advisor who enjoys helping people. In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary of up to£23,500, 23 days’ holiday (rising with service), your birthday off, company pension, life assurance, healthcare support, employee discounts, and free lunches. Working hours are Monday - Friday 9am–5pm but you will also need to be flexible to potentially work 11am–7pm on a rota basis - one week per month.

What you'll ideally need:

  • Proven experience in a customer service or sales-based role

  • Able to overcome objections and negotiate effectively

  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and adaptable to change

  • Strong team player with attention to detail

  • Experience working to time-based or performance targets is desirable
