Job description

Customer Service Advisor

Working for a global leader within the heating industry, you will be working in a team communicating with customers and engineers via phone and e-mail to provide an outstanding customer service experience.

The hours are 08:00 - 16:30 with 30 minutes for lunch, and this is a fully office-based role.

Our client offers when taken on permanently:

  1. Onsite parking

  4. Annual leave 22 days, rising to additional year after 2 years' service

Main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Efficiently handling and prioritising telephone and email enquiries
  2. Establishing and maintaining pro-active relationships with customers
  3. Taking ownership of customer issues, proactively seeking best customer outcomes
  4. Completing checks to ensure jobs are ready to start
  5. Processing sales orders accurately with an acute attention to detail
  6. Raising purchase orders to suppliers
  7. Sending reports to customers following job completion
  8. Providing day-to-day support to field-based Engineers
  9. Supporting the timely return of parts no longer needed
  10. Ensuring all information in systems and databases are recorded accurately and up to date and notes are detailed and clear

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  1. Effective communication and prioritisation skills
  2. Having meticulous attention to detail
  3. Previous customer service experience
  4. Confident using MS Office and databases
  5. Ideally experience processing sales orders and purchase orders
