Customer Service Advisor - Felixstowe, Suffolk

Full-time, Long term Temporary

Monday to Friday, 0800-1700

£12.21 Per hour, PAYE

Immediate start

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Advisor with shipping, logistics, freight, or transport experience to be part of a dynamic and growing company in the Freight industry. This will be working with a multi-award winning company and the UK’s largest provider of their sector. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about customer service and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Role:
  1. Acting as the first point of contact for customer matters, providing a high standard of customer service
  2. Effective communication between customers, colleagues and other offices
  3. Assist, analyse and effectively communicate solutions to customers
  4. Receive and process bookings within an agreed timescale
  5. Manage the day-to-day activities of the customer and advising where necessary
  6. Communicating via multiple methods, such as Telephone and email
  7. Undertake any other appropriate tasks as deemed necessary
Requirements:
  1. Experience within the shipping and logistics industry in a similar role
  2. Able to communicate effectively via Telephone and email
  3. Willingness to learn new systems and undertake training
  4. Previous experience in a customer service environment
  5. Able to organize and prioritise workloads
