Customer Service Advisor Full Time
Salary: GBP25,396.80 per annum
Location: The Oil Depot, Spinnaker Road, Hempsted, Gloucester, GL2 5FD

The Role

  • 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with 1 hour unpaid lunch)
  • Fully office-based
  • Saturday mornings required on a rota basis (3 hours, paid at overtime rate)
  • First-line telephone response to customer calls
  • Take and process fuel orders for delivery
  • Raise and transfer tickets to relevant depots
  • Take payments over the phone
  • Direct calls to the appropriate departments
  • Support with repeat and group orders
  • Provide cover and assist with other duties as required
  • Regular communication with internal teams

About You

  • Previous customer service experience (essential)
  • Inbound telephone experience (desirable)
  • Strong administrative and IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Awareness of data protection principles
  • Able to work under pressure and manage own workload
  • Keen to learn and progress within the role
