Overview

Job Title: Customer Services Adviser
Location: Old Hall Street, Wolverhampton
Contract Details: Temporary, Part-Time
Salary: £13.05 per hour
Working time: Monday 8.30am - 1pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 9am - 5pm

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, live chat, and in-person.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and ensure all enquiries are processed in a timely manner.
  • Assist with enrolment processes and provide clear information about courses and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-up actions in the MIS system.
  • Greet and assist visitors in accordance with ID policies.
  • Handle student ID badges, travel cards, and examination certificates.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and support general administration duties.
  • Demonstrate discretion and sensitivity in all interactions.

  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanour.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in data entry and administration tasks.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer concerns effectively.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience)
  • Experience in a customer service role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with enrolment processes.
  • Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures in public sector organisations.
Technologies
  • Experience with Management Information Systems (MIS) is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
