Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Customer Security Manager to manage security delivery and governance for key accounts in the United Kingdom. You will coordinate customer security objectives, lead governance forums, and ensure compliance with security obligations across the account and supply chain.

• 5 years in a customer-facing role, ideally in a telecommunications environment or regulated industry.
• 3 years of Information Security experience in a security team or delivering security projects in telecoms.

• Knowledge of telecom products, technologies, and terminologies.
• Outstanding communication skills across diverse customer and cultural environments.
• Ability to translate and simplify complex situations.
• Programme and/or project management skills.

About This Opportunity

We are looking for a Customer Security Manager with strong internal & external stakeholder management skills delivering a first-class customer service. Responsible for the successful delivery of information security, as per agreed contractual Security requirements.

What You Will Do

• Support our customers in achieving their security objectives


• Regular reporting of contractual security compliance to the Account team


• Create strong Internal & External Stakeholder Relationships


• Be the security point of contract for the Account team, managing the security relationship between Ericsson and our Customer


• Lead regular security governance forums with the customer, proving updates on our contractual compliance, raising operational issues/challenges, and promoting security


• Security policy governance across the account, including supply chain; ensuring that all security risks are known, and effectively managed in accordance with customer and Ericsson risk management processes


• Working with the Customer Security Director and Telecoms Security Act programme to align customer UK Telecom Security Act (TSA) requirements


• Coordinate security incident, event, and vulnerability communication with our Customer


• Directing the Account team and supporting business units on appropriate good security practice.


• Working with our customer to correctly interpret and comply with all contractual security obligations.


• Operate an effective security awareness programme on the, ensuring that all personnel, including partners, supplier, and vendors, are aware of the security obligations that apply to them and that they hold the relevant security clearance for the role they perform


• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with focus on results and customer


• Support the Account team with tactical and strategic security initiatives

What You Will Bring

• 5 years of experience working in a customer facing role ideally in a telecommunications environment or another highly regulated industry


• 3 years of Information Security experience working in a security team or delivering security projects in a telecommunications environment or similar experience in security product development or experience working for a service provider or operator in a network or operational security role


• Understanding of security legislation in the UK and/or EU


• Knowledge of telecom products, technologies, and terminologies


• Outstanding communication skills, adapting to a variety of customer and cultural environments


• Ability to understand translate and simplify complex situations


• Programme and/or project skills
