Job Description

Do you have a background in Life Sciences and want to take your career to the next level in a customer-focused role? LGC is offering an exciting opportunity to join our team, where you will support the sales and distribution of our ATCC portfolio across UK and Nordics and other EMEA regions as needed.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer service. This includes addressing sales and technical inquiries via phone or email and providing support to our Core ATCC Team and Technical Sales Specialists.

  • Handle customer inquiries, prepare accurate quotations, and follow up to increase conversion rates.
  • Support the Technical Sales team to customise responses based on customer requirements.
  • Provide initial technical support to customers and escalate more complex issues when needed.
  • Implement local strategies aligned with the EMEA sales and marketing plan
  • Maintain service levels, act as a liaison between Order Entry and Technical Sales team and use ERP systems and Salesforce to support sales

Every day, you’ll dive deep into customer needs, using your expertise to guide complex discussions and find tailored answers. You’ll collaborate with passionate colleagues, from the UK to Germany, France, and beyond, driving sales success and delivering unmatched service. With a two-week onboarding programme to master systems, products, and best practices, you’ll be equipped to shine.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences or a related field inCell Biologyrequired
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably in a Life Sciences company, demonstrating a proactive approach to sales activities within a scientific environment is required
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Italian and English and communication abilities
  • Strong organisational skills: Prioritisation capabilities aligned with commercial activities
  • Technical Proficiency:Experience with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
