Job summary

Travis Perkins is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team. The role involves building strong customer relationships, handling orders, loading and unloading in the Yard, and accurately booking deliveries. You will promote additional products and work within a safety-focused environment.

Full-time position with Monday–Friday hours and alternate Saturday mornings. Training will be provided to learn building materials and tools, and there are opportunities for development within the group.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to handle heavy and bulky stock in Yard and Warehouse.
• Best-in-class sales experience through positive and purposeful interactions.
• Self-motivate, multi-task and stay organised in adaptable, fast-paced environments.
• Willing to learn about building materials and tooling on the job.
• Team player who supports colleagues across the branch.

Responsibilities

• You don’t need to be an expert in building materials and tooling, we’ll support you to learn this on the job!
