Job summary

Halfords in Redhill, Surrey, is hiring for a part-time Retail Associate to provide excellent customer service and support sales through weekends. The role involves learning product knowledge and assisting customers with purchases and our fitting services.

You will work 12 hours per week, with pay between £10.85 and £12.71 per hour depending on age and rota, and receive extensive training and benefits. We offer opportunities for career progression within the Group, a strong training programme,

Qualifications

• Experience delivering great customer service, ideally in a retail sales environment.
• A proactive approach to helping customers and understanding their needs.
• Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends.
• Ideally, some experience of working towards and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and explain Halfords products and services to customers.
• Assist customers with their purchases and fitting services where applicable.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and promote driving to quick and efficient sales.

Ideally, you already have Retail sales experience but if you’ve worked in another customer focused sales environment, we’re likely to be a great fit for each other.
