Job description

Customer Sales Advisor - Wythenshawe

Salary: £25,500 + £500 monthly bonus = £31,500

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:45am till 4:15 pm (+1 Sat or Sun per month); Monday to Friday 8:30am–6pm

Context of the Role

The Access Store is the operational heart of the company. The role of the Customer Sales Advisor is to ensure Access customers receive a consistently high level of service. In addition to providing day-to-day help to our customers, the Customer Service Advisor will contribute to the overall cleanliness, appearance, and effectiveness of the store. In the absence of other management, they may be required to take responsibility for other store activities.

Main Duties
  • Deal effectively with sales inquiries from customers over the telephone and face-to-face, advising and selling the range of available services.
  • Maximize every sales inquiry to ensure the store hits its targets.
  • Complete all administrative tasks to ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy store.
  • Will be required to lone work and, in the absence of the Store Manager and Supervisors, take key holder responsibility.
  • Carry out forklift operations as required.
  • Ensure that the store’s ‘bad debt’ is minimized by implementing procedures and controls to recover debts.
Person Specification

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A good level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to speak clearly and demonstrate effective listening skills when communicating with customers face-to-face or over the phone.
  • Self-discipline, working within guidelines and procedures while being attentive to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a small team environment and able to adapt to lone working.
  • Project confidence and knowledge of company products and services after completing induction and probation.
