The purpose of this exciting Customer Project Manager role for our Imaging Systems modality is to lead projects, that are customer facing, to meet the project’s objectives and stakeholders’ expectations, and to create customer value.

This role will be remote based, serving customers in the North West and Midlands region of England and will require regular travel to customer sites.

You are responsible for

  • Delivering products, services, systems and/or solutions at customer sites, as agreed in the customer contract and Statement of Work

  • Gaining agreements on and achieving project goals and objectives, balancing, and managing the project scope (including requirements), schedule, budget, quality, resources, and risks

  • Support presales activities as a subject matter expert ensuring that the scoped solution can be delivered to meet customer expectations with a clear path to revenue recognition & customer value

  • Ensure that all deliverables have been met including, but not limited to, systems installation and integration, clinical and technical consulting, training and education and customer success deliverables

  • Monitoring the customer success criteria and project budget during project execution with an outcome-oriented view focusing on the maximization of the project benefits and customer impact

  • Leading diverse project team(s), empowering the team members to become efficient and effective

  • Building partnerships with the project’s stakeholders, leverage them to achieve goals, and able to influence their opinions and negotiate effective solutions

  • Confirming & using the project objectives and customer success criteria, formulates the project plan, in consultation with project team members and other parties concerned on base of the customer contract.

  • Investigating customer expectations and responding to their feedback

  • Contextualizing organizational goals and shifts, recognizing opportunities, and turning those into customer value

  • Monitoring project activities, appropriately balancing risk taking and issue escalation and setting up detailed progress / escalation reports (including suggested corrective actions) for the project steering team

  • Ensures Philips standards (Process/Systems/Way-of-Working) are adopted as outlined in Philips Business System (PBS) and in the local Management System based on Philips Excellence Process Framework (PEPF)

  • Is responsible for driving compliancy to applicable regulations (Q&R/ H&S) by own organization, third parties and partners in the project

  • Controls the project budget and project progress, evaluates all change requests as to feasibility, costs/benefits and added value, takes corrective actions

  • Provide revenue forecast input for projects and for ensuring changes to the forecast are reported & flagged

  • Achieve and maintain required professional certifications

You are a part of the UKI Service & Solutions Delivery Organization with roughly 320 employees. The Service & Solutions Delivery teams are responsible servicing imaging and IT equipment installed at customers in UKI.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Relevant working experience in imaging systems project management, including experience of leading workstreams within projects from idea through implementation with evidence of business impact

  • You will have a strong technical background in building services either in mechanical or electrical or construction and will have a proven track record working on the design through execution of a variety of building design projects.

  • Have significant experience of tender processes and of contract construction.

  • Experience with a standardized project management methodology

  • Risk and Issue Management experience

  • Evidence of applying daily management and methodical problem solving
