Job Description:

Customer Performance Lead at Waitrose & Partners. This Customer Performance Lead role is based in Bracknell RG YA, United Kingdom. The position requires candidates with at least a GCSE education. This vacancy is in the Retail sector.

Job Responsibilities:
About the role

As Customer Performance Lead, you will foster a data-driven culture within the Waitrose Customer department to maximize ROI, supporting both long-term and short-term brand campaigns. Your role includes establishing relevant performance targets, monitoring, and reporting on key customer activities, and collaborating with our media mix modelling agency (Transunion) to optimize investment returns (ROAS). You will also assist the Head of Customer Planning and Finance in managing the customer budget and leading agency evaluations.

  • Expected salary: £70,900 - £100,000

  • Contract type: Permanent

  • Working pattern: Hybrid approach, approximately 2 days in the office and the rest remote, with ad-hoc meetings.

  • Location: Bracknell Head Office

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead measurement and evaluation processes, including stakeholder management and post-campaign analysis.
  • Manage the relationship with Transunion for media mix modelling, driving operational efficiencies.
  • Support budget management and business planning, including developing business cases for new opportunities.
  • Lead agency evaluation processes, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Essential skills/experience:
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data for decision-making.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of measurement processes, insight, and financial metrics.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Experience in process improvement and planning.
  • Understanding of marketing channels and budget management.
Desirable skills/experience:
  • Knowledge of marketing attribution and customer segmentation.
  • Experience in omnichannel retailing and food retail.
  • Capability in implementing change and innovation.
  • Professional marketing qualification.
