Job description

We have the opportunity for a Customer Oversight Reporting and Insights Manager to join our Customer Oversight department at Tokio Marine Kiln. You will report to the Head of Customer Oversight and will be responsible for improving, controlling, and delivering reporting and analysis for Customer Outcomes. Your goal is to ensure reports are consistent, tailored to audience needs, operationally streamlined, and based on a single source of truth. You will lead the development and implementation of insights into Customer Outcomes reporting, ensuring relevance, advanced generation techniques, and methodologies.

The role includes responsibilities such as:

  1. Overseeing the gathering of requirements, identifying data gaps, and supporting the creation of Customer Outcomes report templates and reporting solutions.
  2. Managing the integrity of MI Reporting for Customer Outcomes, resolving issues promptly, and implementing controls to prevent recurrence.
  3. Delivering actionable insights related to customers, markets, or external factors, aiding strategic decision-making.
  4. Developing a comprehensive knowledge library of all data sources related to Customer Outcomes MI to ensure consistency.
  5. Defining parameters for a 'self-serve' MI capability for Customer Outcomes.
  6. Collaborating with senior managers and departmental leaders to address reporting shortfalls efficiently.
  7. Supporting team development through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
  8. Enhancing review and reporting processes, overseeing existing models, and developing future ones.
  9. Building strong relationships with legal, compliance, risk, underwriting, and claims teams to manage conduct risks effectively.
  10. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.

Essential experience includes proven background in financial services, preferably insurance and the London market, with experience in a global environment. Skills in PowerBI, automation, and analytics dashboards are required, along with knowledge of SQL, Python, and regulator approaches to consumer business. Effective communication skills and stakeholder engagement are also essential.
