Overview

IKEA Sheffield are looking to welcome Customer Order Pickers to join our amazing Fulfilment Team. Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and helping people find exactly what they need? Join our IKEA team as a Customer Order Picker and be the friendly face that ensures our customers' online orders are ready for a seamless pickup experience.

What we offer
  • Start Date of employment will be: 10th November 2025
  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.60 per hour
  • 24 hours per week: 4 days over 7, including late evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends. Operational hours are 6am–6pm.
  • 12 hours per week: 2 days at weekend only, including late evenings Saturday and Sunday. Operational hours are 6am–6pm.

What you’ll need to have
  • Previous experience is beneficial but not essential; motivation to make things happen in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using computers and handheld devices to check and hand out stock or answer customer questions.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.
  • Adaptable mindset to switch between tasks/areas and work within tight timeframes.
  • Proactive, use your initiative to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
What you’ll be doing day to day
  • Pick orders for customers and the delivery team, including handling goods and processing uncollected orders.
  • Provide great customer service in a customer-facing environment.
  • Manual handling of products ranging from LACK Coffee Tables to PAX Wardrobes.
  • Work with or around heavy machinery (e.g., Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks) to transport heavy goods safely within the warehouse.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure environment for customers and co-workers.
