Global Brands Ltd. Is a leading independent drinks company thatowns, markets and distributes a collection of beverages across thepremium spirit, soft drink, RTD and beer categories. From Hooch and VK to our premium soft drink brand Franklin & Sons , we have a presence in all retailchannels domestically as well as over 70 countries internationally.Our HQ is based within our own hotel CASA in Chesterfield, Derbyshirewith additional office space in London.

We are looking fora Customer Marketing Manager to join our team ofCustomer Marketing specialists to look after our National Accounts andtaking the lead on HORECA.

You will be responsible forcreating and executing activation plans that are suited to your givenaccounts, working closely alongside your counterpart in the Salesteam. Ensuring our brands are best represented in the eyes of ourcustomers at all times.

We are looking for candidates whoare passionate about on trade hospitality venues with a greatunderstanding of executing promotional activity. Our ideal candidatewill be a confident communicator with strong presentation andnetworking skills and has excellent time management and organisationalskills – demonstrating that they are able to work on multiple projectsat the same time.

You will ultimately be responsible foractivating our annual brand plans in your given accounts, with yourfocus being:

  • Create and execute activation plans thatare suited to your given channels in order to support customer andbrand growth objectives
  • Ensure the brand is bestrepresented in the eyes of the customer, within the boundaries andcontext of meeting sales and customer specific objectives
  • To act as the interface between all functions in Marketing and theSales team, to develop customer specific campaign activity andcustomer specific new product launch plans
  • Measure andevaluate activity, demonstrating tangible results for the business aswell as future recommendations
  • Assist the Head of CustomerMarketing and Events in developing and delivering channel plans acrossall channels ensuring our brands are seen in the right places with theright people

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the data & insight team to interpret data anddevelop retailer specific recommendations
  • Monitor markettrends and competitor activities to inform on strategic decisions
  • Work alongside the channel relevant account managers tobuild bespoke retailer tenders/activation plans utilising theexpertise of the Events Team
  • Assist in managing themarketing budget and ensure all activations deliver a positive returnon investment
  • Regularly report on campaign performance andinsights to senior management
  • Be confident to recognise andraise challenges whilst delivering a solution to overcome them
  • Be the conduit between sales & marketing to ensure brand andcustomer objectives are being met
  • Where appropriate, buildmutually beneficial relationships with your counterpart in customerbusinesses
  • Be confident to recognise and raise challengeswhilst delivering a solution to overcome them
  • Spend time inyour relevant channel to be able to offer opportunities to brand andsales for all elements of the marketing mix (product, promotion andactivation specifically) to drive GBL growth
  • Prepared toadapt easily and work flexibly, evenings and weekends, to deliver intrade and experiential activity where required
  • As part ofwider customer marketing team, brief channel specific POS requests topurchasing and be the project lead on delivery high quality POSefficiently
  • Brief promotional artwork and manage from startto end using Trello within brand guidelines
  • Keep the salesteam informed and on board with all projects and brand plans, creatingselling decks that tie in brand plans with their channel plans andgoals
  • As part of wider marketing team, maintain allinternal sell in tools to ensure they are accurate and up to date,including Brand and other external tools

KeyRequirements

  • 2+ years in customer marketing orrelated role
  • Proven track record in developing anddelivering activation plans
  • Highly numerate and strongcommercial thinker with a clear ability to present robust andcompelling insight
  • High energy levels with the capacity todeliver multiple tasks
  • Possess strong project managementskills and an ability to think both rapidly and ‘outside the box’
  • A self-starter, who sees the bigger picture and is not fazedby dealing with senior stakeholders
  • Willingness to travelnationally, with full UK driving licence
  • Able to conducttrade visits nationally with occasional over night stays
