JOB PURPOSE

Burberry seeks a skilled Digital Customer Marketing Coordinator (Programs) to join the Customer Marketing team and the wider Channel Innovation team. This 12-month contract role will focus on key customer-centric projects, including a migration project. You will support data-driven digital projects, optimize customer journeys, and contribute to marketing strategies.

The coordinator will help create automated, personalized customer journeys and manage email campaign execution to enhance engagement and retention through personalization, segmentation, and orchestration. You will collaborate daily with email, digital merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure high standards in campaign execution. The role offers exposure to broader digital, creative, marketing, commerce, and IT groups, providing a comprehensive understanding of digital marketing's impact on business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement marketing automation and targeted initiatives to enhance customer retention.
  • Support email production, collaborating with copy, translation, and design teams to develop personalized, localized emails.
  • Work with the DCM Manager and Customer Insights team to identify opportunities for personalized customer journeys.
  • Set up email targeting, triggers, and automated campaigns.
  • Ensure effective database segmentation for targeted marketing activities.
  • Analyze performance data, prepare reports, and provide actionable insights to improve campaigns.
  • Plan and execute testing strategies to optimize channel performance.
  • Promote the use of the email platform and personalization tools to drive customer-centric strategies.
  • Innovate in customer data acquisition and utilization to meet business and brand goals.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in digital marketing or CRM roles, with hands-on campaign management experience and proficiency with ESP and CRM platforms.
  • Digital Expertise: Proven experience in executing email and CRM campaigns; messaging experience (SMS, WhatsApp) is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Project Management: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-team influence.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy and quality in marketing materials and reports.
