Customer Insight Analyst

Forward Role is excited to be working with a customer-focused business in South Manchester, seeking a commercially minded Customer Insight Analyst with a strong focus on customer behaviour and churn analysis. Join a growing, insight-driven digital business. This is a unique opportunity to use data to shape and influence strategic decisions across a diverse product portfolio.

As the Customer Insight Analyst, your main focus will be analyzing customer behaviours, understanding what drives engagement and churn, and translating data into practical insights for stakeholders across marketing, product, and leadership teams. Your work will directly impact initiatives to enhance customer engagement, retention, and overall business performance.

Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze performance and customer behaviour data to uncover actionable insights.
  2. Identify churn patterns and recommend strategies for retention improvement.
  3. Integrate data from various sources such as CRM and digital platforms for a comprehensive view.
  4. Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate trends and opportunities clearly.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote data-driven decision-making.
  6. Design and conduct A/B testing, and use statistical and predictive models to forecast trends and identify growth opportunities.

Skills & Experience

  1. Experience as a Customer Insight or Marketing Analytics Specialist with a passion for insights.
  2. Experience with subscription-based models is desirable but not essential.
  3. Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and communicate actionable recommendations.
  4. Proficiency in SQL and working with large datasets from multiple sources.
  5. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  6. Knowledge of churn analysis, customer lifecycle metrics, and retention strategies.
  7. Strong communication skills to explain data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  8. A proactive attitude and curiosity about user behaviour and business impact.
