Customer Food Technologist
£30,000 - £35,000 plus Company Car

Love food science AND love interacting with customers? This is your dream role!

Are you someone who lives for Food Science but also loves chatting with people? We’re looking for a Food Technologist who isn’t just great in the lab or kitchen-but also knows how to connect with customers, explain the science behind the flavour, and help turn good products into great ones.

What you’ll be doing:
Chatting with clients to understand what they’re cooking up (literally).
Helping them improve recipes, tweak ingredients, or troubleshoot formulations.
Collaborating with R&D, Sales, and Production Teams to bring ideas to life.
Traveling (yep, sometimes!) to customer sites, food expos, or product launches.
Staying up-to-date on food trends, ingredients, and tech-then sharing that knowledge in a way that’s actually fun and useful.

What we’re looking for:
A background in Food Science, Food Tech, or something similar.
Someone who’s as comfortable in a lab coat as they are in a Zoom call or customer meeting.
Great communicator (no jargon overload, please).
Curious, solutions-focused, and a bit of a food nerd (in the best way). If frozen even better.
Bonus points if your industry experience has seen you working with B2B Food Manufacturing, Product Development, or Technical Sales before.

Location:
Flexible/Hybrid (our client is open to the right person in most parts of England (this is due to the locations of their show centres) – but some travel is part of the gig)
