Job summary

Tesco UK is hiring for store-based roles focusing on friendly customer service and flexible support across the store. You will interact with customers, help with shelves, checkout, and online order picking, while contributing to overall store performance.

Roles start at 13.28 pounds per hour and rise to 14.55 pounds per hour in M25 stores, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and options for 12-hour roles elsewhere.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride
• To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience
• To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers
• To work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success
