Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is looking for a Supermarket Assistant to support customers and partners in-store. You will help keep shelves stocked, assist with online orders and provide friendly, reliable service across shifts.

The role offers part-time hours (10 hours per week) including early starts and late finishes, with potential for flexibility to cover peak times. DBS checks may be required and training will be provided to new Partners.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Able to work flexible hours including early starts and late finishes.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and correctly placed for customers.
• Fulfilling online customer orders for drivers to deliver to customers’ doors.
• Reducing wastage by following product checks and markdowns near sell-by dates.
• Collaborating with the shop team to support checkout, Click & Collect and on-demand orders.
• Maintain a safe, tidy and compliant working environment.
