Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know customers, offering advice on freshly baked products and creating a warm, welcoming bakery experience.
• Providing flexible support across the Bakery and wider store, including preparing and baking products to high standards, maintaining availability, and handling customer queries.
• Making customer-focused decisions and completing key bakery routines, from baking and finishing products to stock management and quality checks.
• Maintaining high quality products and a welcoming bakery area to support great service, strong sales, waste reduction and store performance.
• Greeting customers with a smile and helping them choose from our freshly baked products.
• Building rapport quickly so customers feel confident and delighted with their bakery experience.
• Taking initiative to advise on products, manage availability, maintain quality standards, and involve a manager when needed.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the bakery and wider store, keeping things positive, and celebrating success together.
