Job summary

Tesco is looking for a customer-focused colleague to join our store team in the United Kingdom. The role offers flexible hours with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and shifts scheduled with three weeks’ notice.

Starting pay is £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in M25 stores. Some locations may offer additional payments, and roles from 12 hours are available. You will help across various store duties while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.
• Willingness to work flexible hours across store shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, natural service and get to know customers.
• Be confident with Tesco products and offer help when needed.
• Provide flexible support across the store including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service duties.
• Make customer-focused decisions and complete key store routines.
• Understand how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
