Job summary

Tesco is seeking colleagues for store roles with an hourly pay structure starting from £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in M25 stores. We guarantee a minimum of 12 hours per week, with options for more hours up to at least 16. Flexible scheduling and a focus on great customer service are central to the role.

You will join a diverse team, help Tesco shoppers daily, and grow with opportunities within the store network. All applicants must be over 18.

• Customer service passion and ability to greet shoppers with a smile.
• Ability to build rapport and provide great product knowledge.
• Work well within a team and communicate openly with colleagues.
• Be on time, well presented and a brand ambassador for Tesco.

Responsibilities

• Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride.
• Be knowledgeable about the store's products and services.
• Work across service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
• Follow training to work safely and efficiently while serving customers brilliantly.
• Make decisions that help customers and deliver the right routines for store needs.
• Take part in local events and help create an inclusive atmosphere.
• Help manage deliveries and ensure products reach customers in good condition.
