Job summary

Tesco Colleague role in our stores offers variety, teamwork and daily challenges. You’ll meet great people, learn new skills, and be part of an inclusive team. Pay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in stores within the M25.

We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, with some roles from 12 hours. Your shifts are scheduled in advance to give you notice. Duties include friendly service, product knowledge, shelf replenishment, checkout support, online order picking, occasional delivery

Qualifications

To be over 18 for this role.
A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience.
To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers.
To work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success.

Responsibilities

Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers.
Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed.
Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines.
Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
