Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is recruiting a Supermarket Assistant to help deliver our Partner-led service and passion for food. You will play a part in stock replenishment, online order fulfilment, and maintaining a safe, tidy shop floor across busy trading periods.

Hours are varied, 37.5 per week across seven days, including early starts, late finishes, evenings and weekends. Flexible working and DBS vetting may be required.

Qualifications

• Communication skills to enable you to work effectively as part of a team and with our customers.
• Experience of working in a customer facing role is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves are full and products are in the right place.
• Fulfilling online customer orders ready for drivers to deliver.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns.
• Supporting the wider shop team including checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
