Overview

Customer Experience Team Member - Seasonal Fixed Term

Are you great with customers and looking for something a little different? We’re seeking customer-focused staff to join our exciting, fast-paced company. Every night we welcome hundreds of people to enjoy live entertainment at Richmond Theatre. You will be the charismatic and welcoming face of the company, delivering the highest standards of customer service and care.

Role involves helping customers create memorable experiences and contributing to our financial targets by encouraging repeat visits and selling products and packages on the night, including programmes, ice creams and cocktails in our luxury bars.

The position offers varied, fun and challenging work as part of a friendly, passionate and ambitious team, across a range of shows including our December Pantomime.

This is a Fixed Term Contract until 4 January 2026, with potential for permanence at the end of the period.

This role is based at Richmond Theatre, a historic venue with a diverse program that includes plays, musicals, stand-up, ballet, opera and pantomime, and has appeared in various TV and film productions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high standards of customer service and care to guests.
  • Engage with customers to drive satisfaction and repeat attendance.
  • Sell products and packages on the night (e.g., programmes, ice creams, cocktails).
  • Support a range of tasks as part of a friendly, ambitious team across different shows.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Aged 18+.
  • Experience from within the entertainment sector is not essential; applications from diverse backgrounds are encouraged.
  • Availability essential: 6 December 2025 – 4 January 2026; ideal availability from 4 November 2025. Preference for candidates able to work two of the following dates: 24, 26, 27 and 31 December, and to attend Induction Day on 4 November.

Location & Additional Information

Venue: Richmond Theatre, designed by Frank Matcham (opened 1899). The theatre hosts a variety of productions and has featured in TV/film productions such as Downton Abbey and Ted Lasso.
