Responsibilities
  1. Manage all site-based operatives, overseeing all aspects of their work, including safety inductions, toolbox talks, quality control, adherence to method statements and risk assessments, order fulfillment, cleanliness, use of plant and tools, waste reduction, upkeep of plant and facilities, and use of personal protective equipment.
  2. Ensure all work complies with current codes of practice and meets high standards of quality.
  3. Verify that all materials used, including those by subcontractors, comply with technical and quality specifications.
  4. Communicate effectively with clients, their representatives, project architects, engineers, local authorities, and all project stakeholders.
  5. Coordinate daily with the local GSK client regarding performance and risk management.
  6. Maintain accurate records related to site attendance, inductions, toolbox talks, accidents, deliveries, safety inspections, plant registers, scaffold reports, and staff administration.
  7. Understand and manage P&L reporting and management.
  8. Drive growth within existing services and explore new opportunities.
  9. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels and control costs.

  2. Engineering background with relevant certifications.
  3. Proactive planning skills, regularly reviewing plans and schedules.
  4. Strong project drive, high standards, problem-solving abilities.
