Compass Group UK&I, ESS, Defence, Government and Energy services, is recruiting a Customer Services Assistant - Zero Hours to support operations across Defence venues. You will deliver friendly service, handle cash, maintain food displays and ensure food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or food service environments.
• Basic cash handling and POS operation skills.
• Knowledge of food hygiene standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food items and attractive displays.
• Represent Defence and maintain a positive brand image.
• Handle cash and operate the till accurately.
• Ensure compliance with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Follow Health & Safety regulations and maintain a safe workplace.
• Display a can-do attitude and work well under pressure.
• Be a reliable, punctual team member with good timekeeping.
• Demonstrate commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture.
• No prior catering experience required, but helpful.
