Customer Development Executive – Britvic

Location – Middlesbrough & Surrounding areas

Permanent, Full time – 40 hours per week

Salary £29,750 basic + 20% Bonus

In this role as Customer Development Executive, you will help grow Britvic's market share in the soft drinks category within your territory. Working as part of a successful team, you will drive sales of Britvic products, including Pepsi Max, 7Up, Lipton, Tango, Robinson’s, Rockstar, Carlsberg, 1664, Poretti Beer, and Jimmy's, by maximizing brand availability and visibility in Symbol and Independent stores.

· Previous experience in Convenience, Business Development, or FMCG is preferable.

· Field-based role requires a manual driving license.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Working with a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for making face-to-face contact with existing retailers, establishing and retaining new business opportunities, and delivering a business plan for your territory focused on maximizing sales opportunities.

If you bring passion and skill, we will support and develop you to:

  • Partner with our customers by building outstanding relationships in convenience, understanding retailer needs, their local consumers, and executing solutions.
  • Create a winning territory business plan and approach business development to grow sales and market share.
  • Deliver on key selling metrics and support colleagues to achieve execution excellence and customer management.
  • Adopt a full category-based selling approach to develop every outlet for mutual benefit.
  • Use data and evidence-based successes to drive best practices across your territory and team.
  • Develop a growth mindset and adaptable approach to overcome challenges and win over stores.
ABOUT YOU
  • You are a fun, passionate, driven, target-oriented team player who can bring brands to life.
  • Your entrepreneurial style makes you thrive as the key contact for customers, driving new business and maintaining relationships.
  • You are eager to succeed in convenience, advocating our brands and focusing on consumers.
  • Previous experience in Direct Sales, Convenience, or FMCG is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational, planning, and administrative skills.
  • Self-motivated, IT and social media literate.
  • Resilient with high energy and pace.
  • A proactive team participant.
  • Full valid manual driving license, eligibility to work in the UK, and live within a 60-minute commute.
