A leading UK retail partnership is seeking a Technician Specialist to deliver and install products, ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires previous installation experience and a C1 driving licence, and it offers up to £38,495 annually depending on experience. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and a good understanding of technology. The position is permanent with varied working hours.
As one of our Technician Specialists, you'll bring our distinctive John Lewis service to customers' doors and install products in their homes (such as furniture, kitchen appliances, sound systems and TV sets) as part of a 2-person delivery crew driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle. You will share specialised knowledge to coach and develop other delivery drivers on home installations and customer service, acting as a role model for the great service John Lewis is known for.
Note: This role includes an Evening Premium (£3.00 per hour) for time worked between 18:00 and 22:00 and a Night Premium (£4.00 per hour) for time worked between 22:00 and 06:00. This also applies to existing Partners enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements. To work in this role you must be 18 years or older.
Salary: Up to £38,495 (Annual) depending on experience
