About the role

As one of our Installation Specialists based in a Customer Delivery Hub, you'll have the opportunity to bring our John Lewis service directly to customers' homes, installing products such as furniture, kitchen appliances, sound systems, and TV sets as part of a 2-person delivery team.

Note: You must be 18 or older to work in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Starting at the delivery hub, your responsibilities will include:

1. Providing excellent customer service as a brand ambassador for John Lewis.
2. Assisting with loading deliveries and working with the warehouse team.
3. Respecting customers' homes and handling unexpected situations professionally.
4. Installing products efficiently and demonstrating their use.
5. Staying updated on new products and technologies.
6. Maintaining a safe working environment.

The starting salary for a Customer Delivery Hub Driver Trainee is £32,149 per year.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Previous installation experience, with training provided for certification.
• Manual C1 UK driving license (max 6 points).
• DCPC and Tachograph Card.
• Experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
• Customer-facing experience.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Physical ability to handle large items.
