The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach, use their initiative to handle unexpected situations, and be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Note: Applicants must be 18 years or over due to the handling of age-restricted items.

You will be the friendly face of our business—delivering Waitrose quality and service directly to customers' doors. When not delivering, you may assist in-store with stock control and cashiering, which could involve lifting heavy products.

This role requires a good understanding of health & safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to adapt to various tasks. A driving assessment will be part of the application process.

Essential experience, skills, and qualifications:

  • A full valid UK manual driving licence with no more than six points.
  • Must be 18 years or over.

Part of the application will include a licence and security check to verify suitability.

Desirable experience and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a driving role.
  • Knowledge of chilled vehicles.

Additional information:

  • Free on-shift meals in the Partner Dining room (October-December only).
  • Benefits include staff discount, subsidised food, discounts in local restaurants, subsidised learning, access to Partnership hotels, and more.

Application tips:

  • Apply early as roles may close quickly due to high application volume.
  • Print the job description if needed for reference.

Part-time hours vary across seven days, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
