Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week for new colleagues, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). We are flexible with scheduling within the specified availability windows, with 3 weeks' notice of shifts.

Customers are at the heart of everything we do. As the face of Tesco on the road, you will deliver to customers' homes, helping and providing excellent service with a smile. This role involves physical activity, variety, and independence, supported by a team of managers and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure van and trays are clean and organized.
• Maintain a tidy delivery area and pick up litter.
• Wash trays as required, load the van, and check its roadworthiness.
• Communicate with customers about order changes, substitutions, and refunds.
• Handle products carefully and deliver within the scheduled time slot.
• Contact customers if early or late.

Requirements:

• Build positive relationships with colleagues.

• Respond quickly to customer needs and embrace change.
• Be energetic, driven, and able to balance work and personal life.
• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
