Job summary

John Lewis Partnership in the UK is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver for Waitrose. You will deliver orders to customers’ doors and support shop tasks when not driving, upholding our partner-led service ethos with a friendly approach.

Working 22 hours per week across Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 13:00 to 22:00, you must be 18 or over, hold a full UK B-category licence (max 6 points) and be able to lift crates and move cages as required.

Qualifications

• Full valid UK B-category driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Strong customer service skills and time management.
• Able to lift crates and move cages as required.
• IT literate and able to use basic systems.
• 18+ years old and eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Check daily delivery routes and plan the day.
• Load and prepare the van for deliveries to customers.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and stay road compliant.
• Represent the Waitrose brand with excellent customer service.
• Assist customers and build rapport during deliveries.
• Support shop team with general tasks when needed.
