Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours weekly, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). We are flexible with scheduling within the advertised availability windows, and shifts are scheduled with 3 weeks' notice. We welcome applications from those with slightly different availability.

Customers are at the heart of everything we do. As the face of Tesco on the road, you will deliver from Lands' End to John O'Groats, engaging with customers and providing excellent service.

This role involves driving, delivery, and customer interaction, with support from our team back at the store.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized
• Maintaining a tidy delivery area and picking up litter
• Loading and checking the van for roadworthiness
• Communicating with customers about order changes and substitutions
• Delivering within the scheduled time slots
• Calling customers if early or late

Requirements:

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
