Availability Window

The availability windows specify the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you\'ll have 3 weeks\' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues, therefore if the times you are available to work match closely but not exactly to the times we are advertising, we\'d still love to hear from you.

• Sun: 18:00:00 – 22:00:00
• Mon: 08:00:00 – 13:30:00
• Wed: 09:00:00 – 19:00:00
• Thu: 18:00:00 – 22:00:00

Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It\'s our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you\'d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.

The following responsibilities and expectations apply to the role:

• Delivering your part of our customer shopping trip by: ensuring the van and trays are clean and tidy/organised; leaving the back yard clean and free of rubbish; trays are washed as part of the tray wash process; loading the van and checking roadworthiness; talking to the customer about changes to their order, including substitutions, and offering a refund for anything they are unhappy with; taking care of products/deliveries as if they were your own; explaining to the customer that substitutions will not incur extra charges; delivering during the customer\'s time slot; calling the customer before arriving if early; calling the store/centre if running 30 minutes or more late.
• Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit and ensure the store is the best it can be for customers.
• Be warm and welcoming in interactions, take time to understand the customer, and say "Thank you."
• Act quickly to respond to changing customer needs and embrace change within the store.
• Be energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations, balancing home and work life.
• Share ideas with your Manager and colleagues on how to improve the store for customers.
