Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with options to work fewer hours (minimum 12). We are flexible and eager to hear from you.

The schedule is based on availability windows, with shifts scheduled three weeks in advance. We support flexibility and encourage you to apply even if your available times don't match exactly.

As the face of Tesco on the road, you’ll deliver to customers’ homes, helping them and providing excellent service with a smile. This role involves physical activity, variety, and independence, with support from managers and colleagues back at base.

You will be responsible for:

• Maintaining clean and organized delivery equipment and vehicle
• Ensuring the delivery area is tidy and litter-free
• Loading the van and checking its roadworthiness
• Communicating with customers about their orders and substitutions
• Handling products carefully and delivering within the scheduled time slots

You will need:

• Good relationships with colleagues and customers
• Warm and welcoming interactions
• Ability to adapt to changing customer needs and store policies
• Energetic attitude and work-life balance skills
• A valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
