Customer Delivery Driver - Poole Fleets Corner Extra

Join us as a Customer Delivery Driver - Poole Fleets Corner Extra at Tesco.

Pay Rate: from £13.35/hour, increasing to £14.56 inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.

We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week for new colleagues, with options to work as few as 12 hours if preferred. We value flexibility and encourage applicants to share their availability.

Role Overview: As a Tesco Delivery Driver, you'll deliver from Lands’ End to John O’Groats, engaging with customers daily. This role involves driving, helping, and delivering excellent service with a smile. It’s hands-on, varied, and autonomous, with support from our team.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a clean and organized van and trays.
• Leaving customer yards tidy and picking up litter.
• Washing trays as needed.
• Loading the van and checking its roadworthiness.
• Communicating with customers about order changes and substitutions.
• Handling products carefully and delivering within the scheduled time slot.

Requirements:

• A valid UK/EU/EEA Driving Licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Friendly, proactive, and adaptable attitude.
