Overview

The Role and Team

This position is working 24 hours per week, any 3 in 6 days including bank holidays.

Our drivers are the face of our business and their interaction with our customers is crucial to our success.

In this role, you will deliver frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals and bring sunshine to our customers' doors, regardless of the weather. You will enjoy meeting people and be willing to go above and beyond.

You will work in our coldstore at -20ºc. Protective clothing will be provided, along with breaks to warm up and enjoy hot drinks.

You will be part of a team, helping out the office and other teams, with opportunities for flexibility and personal development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to customers promptly
• Pick orders within the coldstore
• Use our app to update deliveries
• Provide excellent customer service
• Inspect your van before shifts
• Drive safely and responsibly
• Maintain your van (cleaning, refueling)
• Communicate with the office about delays or discrepancies
• Maintain customer confidentiality
• Support the office and picking teams as needed
• Report safety, stock, and vehicle issues
• Assist team members during absences or holidays

Qualifications and Personal Qualities

Essential:

• Customer service experience
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (held for at least 3 years)
• Basic computer skills and use of phone apps
• Work stability evidence
• Secondary education

Desirable:

• Experience in multi-drop delivery
• Care sector experience
• Warehouse experience
• Health & Safety awareness

Personal Qualities:

• Friendly, reliable, approachable
• Good attendance and punctuality
• Passionate about customer service
