Our pay rate starts from £13.35/hour, increasing to £14.56 inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.

We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours weekly for new colleagues, with options to work fewer hours (minimum 12). We value flexibility and are eager to hear from you.

As a Tesco Delivery Driver, you'll deliver from Lands’ End to John O’Groats, meeting customers in their homes daily. This role involves more than driving; it’s about providing excellent service with a smile.

The role is hands-on, physical, and varied. No two shifts are the same, and you'll often feel like your own boss, supported by a team back at the store.

Pay and Hours

Starting from £13.35/hour, rising to £14.56 inside the M25, with additional location-based payments. Minimum guaranteed 16 hours weekly, with options for fewer hours.

We value flexibility and support varied availability. Shifts are scheduled within your preferred windows, with 3 weeks' notice.

Customer Service and Responsibilities

• Ensure van and trays are clean and organized
• Maintain a tidy yard and pick up litter
• Wash trays as needed
• Load the van and check for roadworthiness
• Communicate with customers about orders and substitutions
• Handle products carefully
• Deliver within the scheduled time slot
• Call customers if early or late

Requirements

• Respond quickly to customer needs and embrace change

• Share ideas for store improvements
• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
