Pay and Hours

Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours weekly, with options to work fewer hours (minimum 12). We welcome applications from those interested in flexible working.

The schedule will be within the specified availability windows, with 3 weeks' notice of shifts. We support flexibility and are open to close matches even if your availability isn't exact.

Customer Focus

As the face of Tesco on the road, you’ll deliver from Lands’ End to John O’Groats, meeting and assisting customers in their homes daily. This role involves more than driving; it’s about providing excellent service with a smile.

The role is hands-on, physical, and varied. No two shifts are the same, and while you’ll be delivering independently, a team of managers and colleagues are available to support you.
