Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). Your shifts will be scheduled with three weeks’ notice, within your available times. Flexibility is supported if your availability closely matches the advertised times.

As a Tesco Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of Tesco on the road, delivering from Lands’ End to John O’Groats. This role involves more than just driving: it’s about helping customers and providing excellent service with a smile. No two shifts are the same, offering variety and independence, with support from managers and colleagues back at base.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized
• Leaving the delivery area tidy and picking up litter
• Washing trays as needed
• Loading the van and checking its roadworthiness
• Communicating with customers about order changes and substitutions
• Handling products carefully and delivering within the scheduled time
• Calling customers before early arrivals and informing stores if delayed

Requirements:

• Build relationships with colleagues to foster team spirit

• Respond quickly to customer needs and embrace change
• Be energetic and driven to exceed expectations
• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA Driving license (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
