About the role

Availability Window

Pay and Hours

Starting from £12.92/hour, increasing to £14.05 inside M25. Minimum guaranteed hours are 16 per week, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). Shifts scheduled with 3 weeks’ notice. Flexibility supported.

Customer Focus

Delivering groceries, helping customers, and providing great service with a smile. No two shifts are the same. Support from managers and colleagues available.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure van and trays are clean and organized.
  • Maintain a tidy delivery area and pick up litter.
  • Wash trays as required.
  • Load van, check for roadworthiness.
  • Communicate with customers about orders and substitutions, offering refunds if needed.
  • Handle deliveries with care.
  • Deliver within the customer’s time slot and communicate delays.

Requirements

  • Build team relationships.
  • Be warm and welcoming to customers and colleagues.
  • Respond quickly to customer needs and embrace change.
  • Be energetic and driven.
  • Share ideas for store improvements.
  • Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
