Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It's our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you'd like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too and would love to hear from you.

The table shows the periods of time in the week we'd like you to be available to work — the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, with 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. We support flexibility, so if your available times closely match but are not exactly the advertised times, we'd still love to hear from you. Click here to read more.

As the face of Tesco on the road, we deliver from Lands' End to John O'Groats. Our Delivery Drivers get to meet and talk to customers in their homes every day. This role is about more than just driving: it's about helping others and delivering great service with a smile.

It's hands-on, physical, and full of variety. No two shifts are the same, and customers seek help in many ways. Most of the day, you'll be your own boss, delivering to customers, with support from Managers and colleagues back at base.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized
• Leaving the delivery area tidy and picking up litter
• Washing trays as required
• Loading the van and checking its roadworthiness
• Communicating with customers about order changes and substitutions
• Handling products carefully
• Delivering within the scheduled time slot
• Calling customers before early arrivals
• Calling the store if running 30+ minutes late

Minimum requirements:

• Build relationships with colleagues to foster team spirit
• Be warm and welcoming in interactions
• Respond quickly to customer needs and embrace change
• Be energetic and driven to exceed expectations
• Share ideas for store improvements
• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA Driving license (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
