Job summary

Tesco UK is looking for Customer Delivery Drivers to bring groceries directly to customers' homes with a friendly, capable approach. This role blends driving with service, requiring reliability, strong communication and a willingness to adapt to varying daily tasks.

You will work independently much of the day, supported by a team back at base. A driving licence and completed checks are essential for delivery duties across various locations in the network.

Qualifications

• Good customer service and friendly, helpful attitude.
• Valid UK driving licence with 12 months minimum use and up to 3 penalty points.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers' homes within the allotted time window.
• Load and unload the van and keep it clean and organized.
• Communicate clearly with customers about substitutions or changes and handle refunds when needed.
• Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues to deliver excellent service.
• Be warm, welcoming and adaptable while on the road and in stores.
