Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too and would love to hear from you.

The table shows the periods of time in the week we’d like you to be available to work—the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. Delivering your part of our customer shopping trip by:

• Ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized.
• Leaving the yard tidy and picking up litter.
• Washing trays as part of the tray wash process.
• Loading the van and checking its roadworthiness.
• Communicating with customers about their orders, substitutions, and refunds.
• Handling products/deliveries with care.
• Explaining substitution charges to customers.
• Delivering within the scheduled time slot.
• Calling customers if early and the store if late.

• Building relationships with colleagues to foster team spirit.
• Being warm and welcoming, taking time to understand customers.
• Responding quickly to customer needs and embracing change.
• Being energetic and driven to exceed expectations.
• Sharing ideas for store improvements.
• Having a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
