An established industry player is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers who are passionate about providing excellent service. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for delivering groceries to customers' homes, ensuring they receive their orders on time and in perfect condition. Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you'd prefer to work fewer hours (minimum 12), we have opportunities for that too and would love to hear from you.
The table shows the periods during which we’d like you to be available to work – the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, with 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. As the face of Tesco on the road, we deliver from Lands’ End to John O’Groats. Our Customer Delivery Drivers meet and talk to customers in their homes daily. This role is about more than just driving: it’s about helping others and delivering excellent service with a smile.
The role is hands-on, physical, and varied. No two shifts are the same, and customers often need help in different ways. Most of your day, you’ll be your own boss, delivering to customers, with support from Managers and colleagues back at base.
