Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). Shifts are scheduled with 3 weeks' notice. We are flexible with your availability, even if it doesn't match exactly the advertised times.

Customers are at the heart of everything we do. As the face of Tesco out on the road, our Delivery Drivers meet customers in their homes daily. This role involves more than driving; it’s about helping others and delivering excellent service with a smile.

The role is hands-on, physical, and varied. No two shifts are the same, and you'll have support from Managers and colleagues back at base.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver customer orders efficiently and courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the van and trays.
• Communicate with customers about order changes and substitutions.
• Handle products carefully and deliver within the scheduled time slot.
• Call customers prior to early arrivals and inform the store of delays.

Requirements:

• Build positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Be welcoming and responsive to customer needs.
• Adapt quickly to changing customer needs and store policies.
• Be energetic and motivated to exceed expectations.
• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
