Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week for new colleagues, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). We are flexible with scheduling and support your availability preferences.

Customers are at the heart of everything we do. As a Tesco Customer Delivery Driver, you will deliver from Lands' End to John O'Groats, meeting and assisting customers at their homes. Your role involves more than driving; it's about delivering excellent service with a smile.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized.
  2. Maintaining a tidy delivery area and picking up litter.
  3. Washing trays as required.
  4. Loading the van and checking vehicle roadworthiness.
  5. Communicating with customers about order changes and substitutions.
  6. Delivering within the scheduled time slots and informing customers of any delays.

Requirements include building good relationships with colleagues, providing excellent customer service, acting quickly to meet customer needs, and holding a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
